Refund Policy

1. Merchant of record

Runtime Guard subscriptions are sold through Paddle, acting as merchant of record. Paddle handles payment collection, taxes, receipts, chargebacks, and refund processing through its checkout and buyer support systems.

2. Cancellation

Customers may cancel a paid subscription. Unless otherwise required by law or stated at checkout, cancellation stops future renewals and does not automatically refund the current billing period.

3. Refund requests

Refund requests are reviewed case by case. Refunds may be granted where required by applicable law, where a billing error occurred, where duplicate billing occurred, or where the paid service was not made available as described.

4. EU consumer withdrawal rights

Where mandatory consumer withdrawal rights apply, customers may exercise those rights through the Paddle checkout or buyer support process. If a subscription service has started during the withdrawal period at the customer request, any legally permitted pro rata amount may be retained for the service already supplied.
